Most shelter programs offer noncrisis support such as individual & group counseling, court advocacy, and help with transitional housing, job search and child care. SCRS provides counseling and referrals for adult survivors of childhood violence. Harris YWCA also has free services, specializing in issues for female survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.
