The mission of Resources for Sexual Violence Prevention (RSVP) at the University of Chicago is to promote healthy gender relations through dialogue and education.

Request a workshop

One of the central elements of our programming on campus is the Peer Education Program. Our Peer Educators (both men and women) facilitate interactive workshops for student groups. These workshops are free of charge for the University community. Our main workshop is our 90-minute Acquaintance Rape Prevention Workshop. (We also can offer shortened workshop formats if needed.) These workshops are meant to be for students by students, and can be requested by a range of student groups, including RSOs, sororities and fraternities, friends, teams, and dorm houses. They go well as a supplement to a regularly scheduled meeting or study-break, or as a special event.
